Course Name: Horse Anatomy and Movement
ANATOMI, (histology, physiology, osteology, arthritis, myology, nerve anatomy, pathology, virology, dissection)
The teaching aims at giving the students very good knowledge, with particular emphasis on the anatomy of the movement apparatus that the clinically effective therapist needs. Course structure and content:
The course starts with a basic overview of the horse's anatomical building. Thereafter, a terminological review follows adapted to the learning of the general and specific teaching. The studies continue on the basis of the tuberculosis and the various sections, (in the bonfire and leg), with its ligaments interconnected. Myology and muscle physiology are discussed separately and related to the various physiological sections.
The course's continuation describes the horse's organ and organ system and ends with a general overview and teaching of the peripheral nervous system. Teaching includes cathedral lectures, palpation exercises in surface atomics and dissection demonstrations.

Course name: Practical application
The teaching is largely based on problem-based learning where students work with authentic case descriptions under the guidance of the school's teaching profession, based on needs and problems from work life.

Course name: Specialized internship
The internship periods will be preceded by thematic studies aimed at investigating, planning and implementing targeted efforts.
A measure of Equity Therapies' future value in the labor market is how they position themselves in the 12-month specialization (Candidate Year) Specialization Practice, which is carried out during the later part of the studies. Equitherapist student has internships in a very wide field. A large part of the students conduct their internship in Sweden and Norway, but specialization practice in countries such as France, Germany and the United States also occurs. The education program has a very well-established network of contacts with regard to internships. The good opportunities for finding suitable internships reflect the good employment situation for educated Equitherapists.
